A long 14K solid gold chain broken up by slim rectangular bars of deep green stone, each one set in a gold bezel and spaced evenly around the necklace so the colour carries all the way round rather than sitting in one spot at the front.

The green is dark and slightly banded, the kind that reads almost black until light hits it. Because it comes in 24 and 30 inch lengths it wears long — over a jumper or a shirt, or doubled for a shorter layered look.

Real 14K solid gold, stamped 585, on a fine 1mm chain.
